Kharkiv Mayor visits Kharkiv Music Fest

Kharkiv hosted a concert of the KharkivMusicFest festival orchestra “Impossible Meeting: Brahms - Bortkiewicz”.

The event was attended by Mayor Igor Terekhov. He congratulated everyone on this event and noted that, despite the horrors of war, Kharkiv will never give up its cultural traditions.

“Last week was very difficult for the city. There was a rocket attack on a printing house, then on a construction hypermarket. A lot of people were killed. But despite all this, we have to live, not lose our optimism and faith in a happy future. We have to hold such events to spite all our enemies, to preserve our traditions and culture. I thank the organizer of this festival, Serhiy Polituchyi, for having the strength to gather us today and distract us from the horrors around us. I thank everyone who came and who is staying in Kharkiv. We will definitely survive these difficult times!” - said the mayor.
