Kharkiv Philharmonic orchestra will perform in Berlin «Concerthouse»

Kharkiv Philharmonic orchestra will perform in one of the most prestigious hall of the World in Berlin «Concerthouse» on September, 25.

As it was informed in philharmony, none of the Ukrainian orchestras has ever been invited into this hall. The collective of the philharmony will perform on the decade of memory dedicated to the 100 year anniversary of prominent German conductor Kurt Sanderling who used to work in Kharkiv during WWII.

The orchestra will perform the works Kharkiv citizens will hear on the opening of the 84th philharmonic concert season. Among them are the Symphony #6 by Dmitri Shostakovich , overture-fantasy «Romeo and Juliet» by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, violin concert #2 by Sergiy Prokofiev.

We note that as the part of decade of the memory of Kurt Sanderling European audience will see the best orchestras of the World. Along with Kharkiv Philharmonic orchestra, «Russian Paganini» Vadym Repin will perform a solo on the unique Guarneri violin.
