The delegations of 11 partner cities from 10 countries arrived today, August 22, in Kharkiv.
These are the representatives of such cities as Bialystok (Poland), Genoa (Italy), Daugavpils (Latvia), Kaunas (Lithuania), Nizhny Novgorod (Russia), Novosibirsk (Russia), Nuremberg (Germany), Riga (Latvia), Poznan (Poland ), St. Petersburg (Russia), Daejeon (Republic of Korea).
The delegations from Ankara (Turkey), Belgorod (Russia), Kutaisi (Georgia) are expected to arrive tomorrow.
All the representatives of the partner cities will participate in the celebrations of the Day of the City.
The largest delegation is expected from the city of St. Petersburg. These are 17 people including the representatives of veterans' organizations in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, including veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
The delegation of Slovenian company "RICO" will also take part in the celebration.
The heads of diplomatic, consular and foreign missions working in Kharkiv will also participate in the festivities on the occasion of the City Day.
The Agreement on the establishment of a partnership between the city of Kharkiv and the city of Daejeon (Republic of Korea) will be held on August 23 at 4 p.m. State reception of the delegations of Ukraine and foreign partner cities will be held at 5 p.m.
