The ambassador of France met with Kharkiv schoolchildren

The ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of French Republic in Ukraine Alain Remy met with the pupils and the administration of training school №109 with French language enhanced studying.

During the meeting Alain Remy was told about the history of school, was shown multimedia presentation of achievements of the school, olympiad winners in French language were introduced to the ambassador.

The ambassador emphasized that learning language at school is a good basis for further learning and job placement. “Having a good command of language and knowledge about the culture of another state gives you a great virtue. At present time Ukraine integrates into Europe and success of your country depends on such young people like you”, - Alain Remy noted during the meeting with pupils.

According to the ambassador one of the main aims of cooperation among states is to provide students’ exchange and mobility of youth. He stated that Kharkiv is one of the most developed cities in Ukraine in its scientific and educational traditions.
