A career guidance festival takes place in Kharkiv

The opening of the city career guidance event PROF-Fest took place today, 26 March, in Kharkiv.

In his welcoming speech, Mayor Igor Terekhov urged applicants and students of vocational schools to study and work in Kharkiv.

‘It is very important for Kharkiv and the whole of Ukraine to educate young professionals. The war destroyed many residential buildings, critical infrastructure, schools and kindergartens in the city. Yes, we have a lot of work ahead of us, but together with young people, I am sure we will be able to rebuild our hometown. And today, at the festival, you can find out how various vocational schools work, and join various interactive activities that will help you choose your future profession,’ said Igor Terekhov.

At the event, 13 vocational education institutions of Kharkiv presented their work, in particular, in the areas of catering, railway transport, construction, public services, etc.

The festival will take place on 26-27 March in the safe space of Kharkiv Lyceum No. 162.

As part of the event, a number of educators were presented with the Mayor's Commendation for their many years of diligent work, significant contribution to the education of the younger generation and the development of vocational education.
